1. Chemical composition
Main components: silver (Ag), copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), tin (Sn), nickel (Ni), etc., with different proportions depending on the grade (such as Ag20CuZn, Ag72Cu, etc.).
Silver content: directly affects the melting point, wettability, and cost of brazing materials, and must strictly comply with standards (such as GB/T 10046 and AWS A5.8).
Impurity control: Harmful impurities such as lead (Pb), bismuth (Bi), and sulfur (S) need to be limited (usually ≤ 0.1%) to avoid affecting the performance of brazed joints.
2. Physical properties
Melting point range: Select according to application requirements (such as the melting point of low-temperature brazing material Ag Cu Zn system is 600~800 ℃).
Particle size distribution: The powder particle size (such as -200 mesh, -300 mesh) needs to be uniform, which affects the flowability and coating performance.
Loose density: reflects the state of powder accumulation and affects filling properties (usually 1.5-4.0 g/cm3).
Liquidity: measured by Hall flowmeter (unit: s/50g), affecting the powder feeding performance in automatic production.
