Usage: Can be used to manufacture optical glass and single crystals for lasers. It can also be used in the pharmaceutical industry and daily chemical industry, such as as as an anti caries additive for toothpaste, solder flux, advanced electronic components, etc. Also used as a substitute for pharmaceuticals and other fluorides.
Property: White colorless cubic crystal powder, slightly soluble in water, soluble in hydrochloric acid, insoluble in hydrofluoric acid, ethanol, and acetone. It belongs to the cubic crystal system, is stable in air, and can be decomposed by strong acids. Density 4.24, melting point 1473 ℃, boiling point 2489 ℃. Convert to strontium oxide at temperatures above 1000 ℃ in the air.
