Usage: Catalyst for the synthesis of polypropylene, used as an aluminum metal crystallization improver, as a flux for aluminum alloy castings, for refining titanium, as an additive for titanium bonding to aluminum alloys, as a matting agent, as an abrasive for grinding wheels, and as a gelation promoter for rubber and pigments.
Property: White powder crystal, soluble in hot water, slightly soluble in cold water and inorganic acid polar solvents. When heated to above 500 ℃ in air, it gradually oxidizes into titanium dioxide, toxic, with a specific gravity of 3.012 and a melting point of 780 ℃.
